Formed as an instrumental band in 2002 called SUBTERRANEAN HORSES OF THE IMPENDING UNKNOWN, by Andy Brown, Marlon Mathew & Karl Lintvedt then adding Davit Buck on Vocals in 2003 and shortening the name to SUBTERRANEAN HORSES. The band lasted for 6 months played about 35 shows all in San Diego . They reformed for one show Dec 30th 2011 @ THE TOWER BAR
